About Us
Founded by Amir Medawar, a lifelong investor who bought his first rental at 15, the firm was built around a simple idea: manage client assets with the same rigor, care, and accountability as our own balance sheet.
After decades of buying, renovating, and operating single-family homes and apartment buildings, Amir formalized his approach into Medawar Real Estate, adding professional systems, maintenance, and leasing teams to serve other owners.
Today, Medawar Real Estate is led by the Medawar family, and a team that combines deep local market knowledge with institutional-grade financial discipline. Property owners have the opportunity to work with a group that understands cap rates, rent control, depreciation, and tax impact—not just rent and repairs—so each decision supports your broader financial plan.
For investors who want the upside of real estate without the day-to-day grind, we provide an integrated platform: advisory on what and where to buy, full-service property management, leasing and compliance, renovation oversight, and brokerage when it’s time to trade or rebalance. Our clients rely on us to underwrite acquisitions, keep units leased to strong residents, navigate evolving landlord laws, and continually look for ways to improve income, reduce risk, and protect long-term value.
Whether you own a single rental or a growing portfolio, Medawar Real Estate is designed for owners and investors who want a strategic partner—someone in the numbers with you, thinking like an operator and an investor, and
focused on one goal: making your real estate perform.
